A day of extremes-Despite the water going glassy in the morning and shutting off the bite to it white capping and blowing us around in the afternoon it turned out to be a good day on the Columbia and we ended with the following:
-Kept 19 eyes avg. 18" and released 5 hens from 4.5 to 6.3 lbs.
-Finally caught a nice koke that although slim went 22"
-Caught and released over a dozen trout including some of the crazy silver colored native rainbows you would swear were kokes till you got them to the boat.
*covered a lot of water and did a lot of casting and some trolling but the effort was worth it.
-Best color of the day was a glossy chartreuse
-Water temp 37 degrees

Jedi, you are killing it this year. Congrats.
From where did you launch?

Aloha Conrad. Always nice to hear from you. With the water drop, 7B or Keller are a safe bet. If you are in pursuit of Kokes-Keller and try what has worked for you before and if it is not producing, experiment with a chatreuse squider or something goldish. Tight Lines and Sunshine!

Good on Ya! You did way, way better than I did up on the Arm. Agree with you about launches. Porcupine was one lane and it was OK but if it would have been busy it would have be a zoo.

Thank you Part-time for the update. I've been curious about the launch there and the water color.
