So I am visiting relatives and took a little fishing trip. Weather seemed sketchy when I got there, but I decided to give it a go. The first hour or 2 I didn't catch anything as I paddled up the lake and tested out using a dodger for the first time. Then I hooked a fishing that wrapped my lines together and got away which was very annoying. Drifting back down the lake suddenly at 3:00 someone flipped a switch and the fish were all biting. I caught 3 and lost 3 in about 45 minutes including two rainbows around 10 and 14 inches and a big bull trout about 2-3 pounds. I released them all. The water didn't feel as cold as I thought it would, I am guessing around 50. I caught the big fish on a wedding ring, and I got another big bite on it that broke the line off. Good trip overall.
