We run 50 foot top shots and each color of lead is 30 feet, so when we reference depth with lead core we either relay it as number of colors or actual feet behind the boat. Mainly because the lead sections are all the same length, but the length of the top shot can vary an exact length makes it easier for other anglers to replicate what we did. So 105 and 120 refers to how much line was out, not depth of lure. Hope that clears it up.
