We did the morning, and did it well. We wanted to try the late fishing, but five being the daily limit, of course we had to wait another day! I met Steve my fishing buddy and his 12 year old son on the launch at 8:30 pm (Steve had to work) and we set off for our favorite spot we had located through maps at WASHINGTONLAKES.COM
and had done so well in the morning hours. we baited once again with our green powerbait crawdads, against white or green mellows. we cast out in the same 30 feet of water. The kid (ok so I forgot his name) caught the first fish. shortly thereafter, Steve and I both had one on also. great fighting trout I tell ya! It was a blast. the kid and Steve both caught 2 nice trout, and 3 for myself. yes, I did catch another one of those 17 inch trout! (huge grin) and all our others were 10 to 14 inches. we give Martha lake a thumbs up....
