This was a two day fishin mission covering multiple bodiesof water, rivers, creeks, and sloughs, in multiple counties I am condensing it into one report for the sake of brevity. Day one, Sunday, I fished with a friend and we were targeting trout. We started in the evening I caught and released 12"-13" a sea run cutt on a small spoon. The next morning I caught and retained a Coho on bobber and eggs, I had a couple other bites but it went cold after that so I switched locations again. In the next spot I quickly caught another Coho on bobber and eggs. At this point I switched exclusively to lures, I switched to a 1/4 oz pink/white twitching jig and after about a half dozen casts caught and released a pink which was still in surprisingly good shape. After another dozen casts or so hooked, landed, and released about a 10lb king salmon on the same jig. I tried several spoons and a spinner, no luck. I moved locations again hooked and lost both a Coho and 16ish inch Bull trout at this last location. At this point it was beginning to rain, I had been on about a 22 hour fishing excursion, and still had fish to clean and eggs to cure. So I called it a day.

I just want to reiterate that this report covered multiple bodies of water, I did not target, or catch any salmon on the Pilchuck.
