I could rate this report a 3 for the fishing alone, but I had a great time so I gave It a 4. Me and a buddy hit the Skagit for Coho on Sunday, the mid river is still putting out some chrome fish. My buddy caught the one pictured, I caught 2 dime bright Jack Coho, not pictured, and I released a large dark fish also not pictured. So all in all a good day. We hit a couple of different spots around the Baker River confluence and up higher. There are a couple of small holes that are accessible from the bank around the 530 bridge. For us the key to finding biting fish was to keep moving, pounding the banks, the river was still low for this time of year, the fish are a bit cagey. We pretty much found that once we hooked a fish in a hole that spot was blown and we had to move even if it was just 100 yds down the shoreline. Goodluck out there!
