Took Glenn with me to Porcupine Bay. It was about 18 degrees when we launched. The water was stained greenish with about 18 inches of visibility. It was about 1100 before our lines and eyelets stopped freezing up. We tried from 23 FOW to 70 FOW, it was an extremely tuff day of fishing. By 1200 all we had caught were 4 burbot on jigging raps. As we moved around from point to point and flat to flat, we figured out 40 to 50 FOW was the depth where we finally found some eyes. Jigs caught most of the 12 eyes we finally boated. Only 3 were big enough to keep so we didn't clean any. The highlight of the day was Glenn's catch of a kids Disney Frozen fishing pole, that's how slow it was. We talked to a couple of other guys at the launch and it seemed it was a tough day for most everyone else.
