Started off around 9:30am with my brother. Kokanee was the main goal. We motored down to the far end of the lake and started trolling with rods from on the surface down to 40'. The first fish was our biggest at around 13". We had a decent number of bites over the next two hours and landed a couple more. 40' was our best depth.

Things slowed down a bit, so we moved back up towards the boat launch. We tried jigging on 28' and caught a few more kokanee as well as a couple cutthroat. After losing the only two productive jigs we had we went back to trolling, this time around the launch area. The trolling bite was pretty good, but again our conversion rate was pretty terrible. I think I need to invest in some softer kokanee rods. 20'-32' was our best depth.

Ended the day with 6 kokanee and 2 cutthroat in the cooler. We probably lost at least three times the fish we landed. Trolling flies and small hoochies got the most attention. Off the water by 2:30pm.
