My brother Zachary Witkowski and I just got back from a camping and fishing trip in Eastern WA. This is the first video I ever created using editing software on a computer. We camped and fished at three different places. Long Lake in Spokane, then to Lyons Ferry Palouse/Snake River (to target Channel Cats and Walleye for the first time) Then finally, we found fish at Banks lake. I Caught my personal best Black Crappie and we cooked and ate the fish on shore.
Us bass fisherman have to remember to be careful when crappie are on the hook.
After catching my personal best crappie 2 lb 10 oz on the first day full day at Banks while bass fishing, and a 5lb 6 oz and a 3lb 9 oz Largemouth. . We woke up and went back out across the road bed at Banks (for a second full day of fishing. i decided to start targeting crappie and i caught and kept a 1 lb 11oz Black Crappie and 3 others that were 9-11"s.
I lost 5 huge Crappie right at the boat trying to boat flip them like an idiot. I should have used the net.
We caught like 20 other small mouth all under 3 lbs.
