Got to the upper twin lake around 6:30. Raining very heavy, decided to go for it anyway. We were out there around an hour and forty five minutes, and caught around 7 rainbows, mostly 8-11 inch range.
Went in for the morning, came back out around one thirty.
Caught about 5 more between us. None too big. Called it a day.
Sunday morning rolled around, headed back up to the upper lake.
Between the snow, hail, and the rain...we had a blast. Most of the time, we were bottom fishing using crawlers. Buddy floated one on top using a balsa bobber, and whammo!!! He brought a nice 18 inch 2 pounder in. It was a beauty!! Froze our tails off most of the time..
but the staff at the lake, and the hospitality at the base, made it much more enjoyable...Thanks!!!
