There was a big storm brewing down by Oregon that was reported to be coming to our area about 7-8pm. Interesting to me was, if it would affect the bite. As per usual, I had lots of bites I didn’t see until I got home to watch on the computer. Since the storm was about 12 hours away, I don’t think it made a difference.
We started fishing about 8-830am and finished by 1130. My son had the most to the boat but I had mine on the longest. Watch the video.
Water temperature was 73.5 degrees. Air temperature was between the 60’s-70’s. Mostly sunny early then the clouds started coming in.
I went from the surface to 41 feet on the downrigger. Our speed, 1.3 to 1.7mph, was fairly even since there wasn’t a lot of wind. I got 2 in the boat and my son got 3 planter trout.
