Fished the opener once again at this fish factory. Sunny and a bit breezy opening morn. with temps. close to freezing over night. Water temp. was 50-53. Sunday it was
cloudy in the morn. then sunny with dead calm water. Rare for this lake!

Terri and I didn't make it out on the water till about 9pm, saw many catching fish on the shore and some limits. Crowds were down
from past years, but still lots of people. Very slow action Sat. trolling a spinner and still fishing marshmallow and worm. Fish are
excellent size averaging about 11-12 inch. for the yearlings...14-16 for the 2 yr. olds and 18 plus for 3 yr. plus. I picked up one nice
3 yr. fish of about 3 lb. We brought home 12 fish and 7 were carry-overs. I saw many with carry-overs this year. Sunday was our best day
with limit for myself and 2 for Terri. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR GARBAGE if you go there. There were piles of broken bottles, garbage, smoldering
fires left after most left. I wish something could be done to fine the ones that leave a mess!
