Packed in the aluminum boat( bad idea), finally got to fishing and fished for five hours with not even a single hit. It was a nice day, a few ducks were on the water. Other fisherman were just leaving - they had not caught anything either and later on we packed up and left. Pain in the rear end getting the boat back up to the top to the road. Had to go over trees that had fallen by the wind. Would not recommend it. If you are going to try this lake I would recommended floats or plastic boats. No sign of fish because there was nothing rising to the top. Saw some more scabby deer this time also, they didn't have much hair on them either. Something wrong with the deer population in the area and on this side of the cascades.
