Started the day off @8:30 am ,kind of late. I took two friends who have never fished Nunally. We put in and I put on a bead head woolybugger. A couple hits and a LDR( long distance release). Switched bugs all day until the Mayfly hatch started in the afternoon.
I matched the hatch but the fish did not want my flies . My bud's did real good. Each got 6 fish over 20", plus quite a few in the teens.
I finally hooked one and got it to my pontoon. A nice little rainbow of a whopping 10". I was talking with the guy who lives there and he started spotting fish for me from his patio. I was by his swimming dock and had my mayfly sitting next to a natural, when wham! the trout took the natural. Happened to many times. I guess it just wasn't my day. I was pleased that my friends got some really nice fish.
I will be going to dry falls with them in two weeks. So I hope my luck will improve. I guess that is why it is called fishing not catching!!!!!!!:)
