My fishing bud and I put the boat in the water about 10am.The boat launch and parking have something to be desired, and it is more room and a longer ramp. I don't have a huge boat and still dropped off the end. Any way's, after navigating through the 2.3 million trout fishermen and ladies, we pulled up to the flats. We watched a bassman throwing a spinner bait with no results. We pulled into the area he went threw and saw 5 14in. plus on beds. The water is very clear and the fish were very spooky. We landed one 17in,released it, then watched 2 footballs swimming back and forth under a dock. They were the size that WA. dreams are made of. Most fish are in the post spawn stage now. Many fish showed signs of bedding damage to their fins. Most would not even look our way. This fishery could be reeeeeel good in a few weeks and I WILL BE BACK!!!!!! Lots of folks catching trout. We were blown off the water by 2pm and went to another lake with better results. Deeper,colder,pre-spawn. Tight lines too you and yours, Randy.
