We arrived at Lake St. Clair at about 9:30 A.M. and unloaded the
boat. There were quite a few bank fishermen fishing and we watched one man catch 2 as we were getting ready to go. We left the boat launch and went under the bridge and then started trolling. We saw a lot of fish on the fish finder, but never had a hit. We trolled the entire lake without any bites. We tried wedding rings, nightcrawlers, and even a small set of pop gear to
no avail. We went back to the launch and as we were loading the boat a lady hooked a couple more. They were all real small ( 8" or so ). I guess we should have left the boat on the trailer and bank fished.. No one we talked to in boats did any good either. That was my first time to this lake. It is a nice little lake, but it had a lot of pressure on this sunny day..The fishing was great.. ( but the catching was poor )...Rick
