I went fishing on spencer twice this weekend. First with my buddy Chris, we got a late start ( 3:00 pm), but, didn't let that get us down. At first we were getting alot of bites, but, couldn't hook any thing. Most of the fish would hit once then just disapear! Behold, I have found the answer, Berkley Power Eggs, Gods gift to trout fisherman. The trout couldn't get the bait off the hook, and you can reuse the same bait for more than one fish ( providing you set the hood before they swallow it). Anyway that was friday I caught my limit the smallest was 10" and the largest was14". Chris unfortunately didn't catch on and he went home with nada( oh yeah, I'm # 1). Saturday my brother and I hit the lake (best trout lake on the west side of the Mountains) and we both took home our limits. The biggest one of the day being 16" and the smallest 8"( he got thrown back). the average fish of both days was 12". Chris called me and told me he went to the tavern on the lake and used their dock and landed a 3#er, but I never saw it. And all fishermen know if noone saw it, it didn't happen. that's my story and I'm sticking to it. good luck and I'll see you on the lake, seeya cecilthefisherman@yahoo.com
