Fished this lake for the first time on Sat with my wife. Started at around 9:00 am didn't get too many bites but the fish finder showed a lot of fish, but they all were at 50' to 55' deep. We were using red #8 Gamakatsu hooks with pink power eggs. We stayed there about 4 hours before I was ready to give up then she hooked one. After a bit of a fight we got it in the boat it was a nice fat 15 inch rainbow. We stayed 30 more minutes after that but that was all we could catch. Does anybody know how to get the fish up out of deep water though? Because we saw a lot of fish but we just couldn't catch them.
