Went to Roesinger this weekend and, like all other reporters, caught fish. I was a little disappointed that there was no Ranger there. I figure with Mar. 31 being the final day of "old" licenses, the lure of weekend fishermen, and the amount of fish stocked recently, there would be some rangers making the state some money. After reading some of the other reports I had to write in and say my piece. If you fish with bait, any kind, your limit is 5 fish regardless of whether or not you release them. And a limit is good for the entire 24 hours of that day, not each time you come back from the ice chest in the trunk. These fish are no more than 12 inches long at most and are dumber than your PowerBait. If you have to keep some to eat, then great. But people walking out with stringers of 30+ fish makes me sick. My buddy and I caught and released fish all day and had a blast. Help preserve these lakes and thier stocks. Before you head out, check the regs and make sure you have a license.
