A little late on this report, but here it is.Started fishing this lake at 9:30 am. Lots of fish rising in the middle of lake, so we just cut the motor and drifted. Right off the bat, my buddy gets two 11 inch bows. His weapon? Orange power eggs, cast out like a spinner and reeled back to the boat. I stuck to a spoon, figuring quick action.WRONG! They wouldn't touch any lure I tossed. After a while, we deceided to anchor up in shallow water off a point. We couldn't get regular powerbait to work. My buddy switches back to just a power egg, and BAM! 13 inch cutt. Things aren't looking too good for me, so I switch to a kastmaster. First cast= 20 inch,5 lb bow. We hung it up shortly after.
