I went to Green Lake in the afternoon around 2:00 and fished the T dock by the swimming pool. I was using chartruse powerbait but only had one nibble from 2:00 to 6:00. But later in the day, my fishing buddy Tim, came and we decided to fish for catfish at night since the 3 pounder he caught yesterday night inspired him. Just before sunset, the trout were jumping like crazy and Tim used a float with a white fly and caught a whole bunch of those little fish that looked like chinook. He was also fishing for carp which he landed a 5 pounder and gave it to his old friend. When darkness was upon us, Tim also brought along a lantern which we used to attract the fish to dock. We were both using nightcrawlers and my first cast I had a big bite, but unfortunately I lost it. But a while later, Tim hooked up to a nice 13 inch channel catfish. Darn I was starting to get excited but never did catch anything. I only caught a couple small bullheads. When I left at 8:30, Tim caught 3 trouts, one carp.
