Arrived at the lake a little late, wasn't on the water until almost 9am..Conditions were great-sunny, approx. 58 degrees, very little breeze. From the boat launch headed directly across lake due east, then started trolling the eastern bank heading south..Landed the 1st fish within 20min..13" trout, nice colors! Impressed with the quality of the fish,almost look like a koke..didn't land the 2nd one until 1hr later..even bigger..14" trout.The fish finder was busy all day.Some large ones are out there.Caught both at 25ft. deep on a "pro series" wedding..chartreuse beads..then the inevitable happened.Water skiers and jet skiers all over the place at 11am,had to pull in.It was a short trip, but worth it.Next time we will be out on lake earlier, right Doug?
