Hadn't fished here in a couple years and thought it was time to nail some jumbow's, but no luck, not even a nibble. We trolled flatline using wedding rings and an assorted grab bag of tackle- not even a perch!!! Weather cooled a bit I was hoping it would have been a lot hotter since I was in shorts and a tank top ! Trolled the whole Northwest and Southwest sides of the lake and saw a few jumpers. Then the water skiers came ! Is there no common courtesy nowadays ?
Only thing exciting was my buddy mark's 7 year old daughter lost her pole! Boy was she upset! Never stopped crying. Oh well.
An old timer caught a nice Kokanee at 30 ft down! But he was using all that hardware I refuse to use . I wanna feel the fish not drag it till it dies. Any suggestions on how to catch these Kok's would be appreciated (hookupinc@earthlink.net) or if you've got a good fish story to share.
