The Sun was shining it was about 70+ up there near the mountain. My wife and I wanted to check the water level out before we bring our boat up here for fishing. The water level was down quite a bit in fact we could walk out to the 1st island near the boat launch. There were only about 3 boats on the lake at around 10:30 am. Reports of a few limits on kokanee. Off the island I caught some perch and a smallmouth about 13 inches near the rocks.
This lake around this time is hot for big crappie if you can find them.
Hope we can get some more snow melt or rain to fill up the reservoir it looked like one 20 ft. fiberglass boat made it in at the boat launch but he was coming back out as we were leaving. Also watch out for the floating logs they could be desastrous. Good Luck Fishin!
