I just got back from Mossyrock camping and it was a lot of fun. Too bad the weather decided to cool off while we were there and wouldn't you know it it got hot the day we were packing up to leave. I went camping with my wife's parents
and I got to learn how to waterski. I can tell you that it's not as
easy as it looks. I crashed a lot. They say getting up out of the
water is the hard part but the hard part for me was staying up. All in all I had a lot of fun. I think I'll stick to fishing and let me tell
you, the fishing was on too. When weren't skiing, we fishing and
catching lots of them. The last time I went to Riffe Lake which was
sometime in May I only caught two Kokanee. This weekend I easily
tripled that effort. Just sitting in the boat over by the dam with a
bobber and worm and corn, I must have caught at least 8-10 Kokanee. I let them all go, but some of them were pretty healthy. They ranged from 10-17 inches and had quite some girth. Anyhow, if you want to know the hot spot. It's Riffe Lake. I think we'll go back. How's the fishing been elsewhere? SEE-YA!!!!!!!
