I had met Dave while on the water. I was in a pontoon boat that I just got and was fishing some cover and lillys on the other side of the lake. He actually pulled up next to me and asked how the fishing was. I found a small area that I could push into that most boats couldn't (Advantage of a pontoon boat) tossed a rebel topwater into the small area and hooked a 1.2 ponder. Looked and saw dave useing a small jig and tried it myself and got a .5LBer. Went to the weeds and saw a monster swim under me. Must have been at least 6-8 LB and in a pontoon that is so close to the water that looks like a Muskie!. cast a double tailed grub retrieved and BAM caught a 3.8 LB Largie and man that was nice. This lake is nice for bassin as well as for rainbows. But be carefull in your boat....there is a lot of underwater logs (manmade) that inhabit the bassin area and you could easily destroy that nice fiberglass boat that you have.
catch and release and support your local soldier...hooooaahhhhh
