What a great way to start the year. First fishing trip of 06 My buddy D and i took my little jon boat out on saturday 1-14-06. We had first showed up not knowing what to expect. It was our first time going out on the lake and this one can be big water if you get stuck in the wind not safe in a 12 ft jon boat. We arrived at the launch just after sun rise and the fog was so thick visability was at about 10 ft so we didnt launch and decided to fish of the bank for a while. After many cast and no fish we didnt care about fog and decided to put the boat in the water it took a while to locate fish but once we did the fog didnt seem to matter. We both had our limit about the time the fog lifted. we ended up with 9 browns and 1 rainbow. What a great time we had. Cant what for the warm water season here heard theres monsters in this lake.
