we got out to the lake at sunrise. rainin like a beeatch. cold wet and breezy. i banged one holdover on a bobber and worm. i saw my bobber move slowly to the right, barely detectable, so i hooked him and reeled him in. didnt fight at all. beautifull fish, but a little dark in the belly and sure as hell, he was fill of milt. i didnt measure him but when i cut off its head and threw him in the biggest frying pan i had, there was about an inch and a half hangin outta the friggen pan. nice little fatty! not a triploid either. anyway the're still lethargic as the water is too cold to fire em up yet. but soon, its gonna be bang city. at least i am getting some break-in hours on my new free drifter before the rivers open. ye hawwww goin out this weekend so will post results...later dudes and dudettes.....terry...
