Had the day off and my son Rooney was in town so we decided to hit geneva for a day of fishing. We got to the lake a little late around 12:45 and started to fish, we keep getting hooked up so we increased the speed and all was fine for a while untill Rooney hooked and landed this 17" big fat bow and broke his rod tip. We cut the rod at the next eye and keep fishing. Within ten minutes Rooney hit two more bows a 16" fatty and a 14" flatline. I have never seen fish so fat. I picked up on his seceret and landed me two 17" bows before the fishing cooled off. We were using a cheap red devil lightly overcoated with green flouresent paint with two small splits about six feet up the leader, dip the lure in a vinegar, olive oil and mint mixture. We also us a strip of cardboard the size of a night crawler attached to the hook and soaked overnight in the solution.Troll fast & good luck. Be careful at the launch I slipped and skinned the heck out of my knees but it was worth it. Micky
