My father, best friend, and I went out in our float tubes on Margaret for opening day, and had a great trip. Over the course of four to five hours, we caught and released about twenty trout apiece. All were caught on Rooster Tails or similar, fished two to four feet below the surface. It also looked as if the shore anglers were having the same or similar amount of success.

I was also fortunate enough to see a truly classy and helpful angler, and just wanted to say how impressed I was and how people such as him are great representatives of fisherman and people. While fishing, I saw a man and woman fishing from a paddle boat, and noticed that they were not having a lot of luck. Apparently, an unknown man heard the same because he took his boat over to theirs, told them how he was catching fish, and proceeded to give the man and woman worms and wedding rings so that they could troll as well.
