My honey and I rented a rowboat at Klinks, threw on our 3 horse kicker and headed across the lake about 7am or so. Windy, fun looking whitecaps....swore we were going backwards at times.
Dropped worms and marshmellows and casted wooly buggers in one of the protected coves. Did we limit out? Well, hello! It's Williams Lake for criminy's sake!

4 good size 18"er's,6 yearlings and the rest were stockers. All in all a super day at the lake.
If, of course, you don't count the time looking for the stringer I mis-tied, fishing Joe's pole out of the water from his "over-enthusiastic master caster routine" , pulling my cell phone, digital camera and wallet out of 3 foot of water when I insisted that I was the best choice to push us off the shore after making a little piddle detour in the trees.
My girlfriend didn't notice any thing, she was too busy waving at the guys with the bigger canvas covered warm looking cabin type boats.
Again, a great fun day on Williams.
