The great Pine Lake treated me and JJ well today like it always does. Went from 1:00pm to 4:45pm, about 3 hours in fishing in all because of a bathroom/stretch/drink break...Nice to get out again with Jimsoks and we got into some good fishing today...Nailed about 50 between us, about a 25-25 split. Jimmy hooked into and brought to the boat a nice 20+inch Brown Trout which was released after the pictures were taken...Most were about 10-11 inch rainbow planters, a little skinny but we kept 4 decent planters for the grill, two for me two for him...We released everything else and used red flatfish about 5-7 feet deep had no problem catching fish whenever wherever...Please release the fish that you don't need, take only what you need and no more...I saw a family of four in a boat come in with 20 trout even though they may have taken more then their limit cause it looked like 30 on a stringer and I'm thinking what are you going to do with all those??? It would be nice to have people release them to be able to let them grow and live through the summer so we can have some good fall fishing which rarely occurs because everyone takes all they catch when they waste them. But Pine is holding strong and it was nice to get a scenery change from Beaver because Pine is open now!
