P.S. to my previous report. By virtue of being a local, just a mile or so from Medical, I returned to it at 8:00 P.M. Took my wife and sons with me. I wanted to see if those browns still come into the shallows at dusk to clean the days remaining hatch off the surface. Yep, they still do!! With Chris and Jonny serving as my "spotters", I managed 2 fish while casting from the shore, both lovely browns about 18", on a parachute adams. Not bad for only 20 minutes worth of fishing. The trick is to ascertain the trout's route by watching consecutive rises and simply leading him by a few feet. This can be very effective. In the past I've had 6-8 fish evenings. Additionally the pattern does not seem to matter once the sun goes down. I've caught them on several dry patterns in the 12-16 range.
