This report is for Dave, who is presently acriss the pond in Europe. Also, I'd like to thank this site's editor for helping Dave and I link up last week...could not have happened without you! Surface temp back down to 64, partly sunny, winds 10-15 MPH. Cooler temps the past few days have really cleaned up the lake. Yesterday I could not get a fish until noon but today they started early. In two short fishing days of 3 hours each I managed about a dozen and a half hook-ups. Lost several bows due their fantastic aerial displays and raw power. A couple thought they were tarpon! Brought to net the rest along with a few browns and a tiger. No luck for me on chironimids, all fish were caught while dragging an intermediate line about 12-15 feet down with buggers and various nymphs.
