Went up again with a buddy in his 10ft Livingston...bad luck from the beggining. The boat had a gnarly hole on the left side and of course the battery for our trolling motor was dead. SO, we get out there and he's bailing water with a gatorade bottle and I'm rowing in circles from the weight...not to mention the wind howling. However the fish were biting like crazy...the bass were REALLY active...I had my pollies on lookin for muskie but didn't see any. Got bit like crazy using soft plastic but just couldn't get hookup. My buddy did catch one little smallmouth off of a 5 or 6 inch Berekely jerk bait. We probably would have killed if it wern't for all the hassle with our equipment. Tapps is definetly on fire right now! Release ALL big fish! Take a picture and get em' back in the water! TIGHT LINES!
