This was our first trip to Liars Cove, and we were treated like family! Nita & Arnie were the perfect hosts. This was an extremely well kept, organized, easy-to-fish resort. It was very obvious to us that Nita & Arnie truely loved what they do, and what a joy to visit with. My sister and I were trying to think of a place to take our(would rather be fishing than anything else) parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, and with a little research on the net, found Liars. Venturing some place new is always such a crap shoot. We were relieved and happy to say that we were not disapointed in our choice at Liars. I highly recommend the pontoon boat for those in your party that have a hard time getting in and out of boats. This proved to be the best idea from Nita for our parents. We were able to all fish together, and easily limited while trolling. Which by the way we have never done at other lakes. The bait recommended to us by Nita was a silver and orange Needlefish. That lure out fished our Wedding rings and Dick Nites 3 to 1. Our largest being 16 inches and 2 pounds! Our family has fished at another nearby lake for 45 years, and Conconully is an easy choice for next year. Fish less at the other lake, more at Liars! Looking forward to next year!
