Alright, had a great day on the lake. Weather was good the whole time out. Caught 18 rainbows and lost about 3 or 4 because of the lily pads. Used the still fishing method the entire time. (why change when its working) The second fish I caught was 3lb and 16" long. (very very nice fish) He was not a real good fight, but very nice to look at once in the boat.

I know this sounds silly coming from someone who is 29 years old and fished all my life but this is the largest rainbow trout I have ever caught. My fishing partners all caught good fish to but none of them at the size level of the big one. (2 and 4 year old boys and my wife) Fished from 11:30 to 3pm only 100 feet from the boat launch.
Used five foot leader, 1/4 slip weight, red hook, with two yellow power eggs.
The fishing should be good for the next couple of weeks due to a recent plant/ stocking of 5 to 8lb trips. fish were planted on 6/2/06 at five am. Have fun, be safe, and good luck fishing. -need a bigger boat
