Well Lewis Lake is not doing as well as it has in the past. I did catch a couple 3 pounders, but did not get any hits from the big bass that use to be in here. I have fished here about ten times this year with bad results almost everytime. Just seems what use to be a great bass lake is now like Sequalechew Lake on post, dead. I have been fishing this lake for five years now. Lots of non-DOD out there now, trash from beer bottles floating in the lake, and trash litters the only place you can put in a boat. I guess I'll start going to Fiander lake, it has decent bass and great Crappie fishing with no pressure except for the cougar. You just have to watch out for the bears and the occasional elks that roam around there. Even the bluegill at the lake are less concentrated. I did hear the crappie are biting more than great at Lewis Lake.
