I fished this lake for the first time about four weeks ago, i trolled on my boat, and got about 2 small 10 inchers, nothing exciting, my buddy caugh the same, i think three though. Then i anchored down on the side that was the far left if you are on the shore, casted a spinner numerous times nears some of the docks and pulled out a nice 13 incher weighed about 1 lb mabe more. The cool thing is, is that there is no triploid in there either, so that was probably a third season fish. Then i came back about a week later and trolled by the weeds, and casted some plugs for bass because i found out there was some in that lake, rumor said someone illegally stocked them in the 80's, caught mostly very small ones, and about two 10 inchers, all largemouth. two weeks later fished the shore, i tried just about all of my lures in my box and couldn't get anything, all i got was an 11 inch trout on worms, same with my next visit, only worms. So i think the shore is horrable fishing, mabe due to the drop off from 10 ft going to 30. I only like this lake for trolling. Good luck and happy fishing.
