My brother and I headed out for a day of fishing on this beautiful lake. We figured that the gorgeous view of THE Mountain in the background would be enough if we got skunked. This time, though we decided to fish from the dock instead of the public pier. We had a great day, but it was kind of warm for the fish to be so close in, so we took a pontoon boat and headed out with others from the dock for the deepest part of the lake. We hit our limit in under 2 hours! While everyone else who had been out had caught their limits of Browns, we caught Rainbows! WE had a great time and next time we go back (in a couple of weeks) my kids want to go too. To think, we almost didn't go because someone had rated the lake so poorly. I don't know where they were fishing or what bait they were using, but whatever the combo was they should try it out again.
