5/26/2007 6:50:00 PMI used to live on Fish Lake. Best bait I have used is a small all white or yellow rooster tail. You have to wish for trout on this lake like you fish for bass on other lakes. Position your boat away from structure, docks, logs, or whatever. throw the bait at the structre, give yourself a 10 count and slow retreive back to the boat. The trout seem to hold closer to shore and use the docks for protection. Good luck! God only knows why someone( bucket biologist) put blue gills in that Lake, could really damage the trout fishing.
