WELL I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET MY BUDDY TO GET HIS BOAT OUT AND COME WITH ME TO CHECK OUT LELAND. SEEN IS HOW I WAS NOT RESTRICTED TO MY FLOAT TUBE, WE DECIDED TO HEAD TO THE WEST END OF THE LAKE AND TRY FOR SOME OF THOSE BASS THAT I'VE HEARD ARE IN THERE. WE STARTED WORKING THE SHORELINE AND BEFORE TOO LONG "RAIDER" HAD A REALLY NICE SWELL AND SWIRL NEXT TO HIS TOP WATER LURE, AND SURE ENOUGH, SHE TOOK IT. HE WAS SO EXCITED! UNFORTUNATELY HE DIDN'T GET A GOOD SET AND SHE WAS GONE, NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN. AFTER A WHILE I SWITCHED UP AND TRIED FOR PERCH WITH VERY LITTLE SUCCESS. AFTER IT WAS DARK AND WE WERE HEADDED BACK TO THE LAUNCH, I DECIDED TO THROW A RAPALA OUT AND TROLL TO SEE IF I COULD ENTICE A BOW. WELL, IT DIDN'T TAKE TOO LONG AND MY POLE WAS BENDIN' IN HALF, AND MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, IT WAS AN 11" CRAPPIE! MY FIRST ONE EVER AND I CAUGHT IT TROLLING--WHAT ARE THE ODD'S?
