Caught 8 small bass ranging to about 1.5 ibs. and one nice cutthroat. Nice morning on the water.

Hiked down to Deer lake off hyw.3. The dirt road is blocked now with big rocks.
Would be great for float tube. Caught 2 small bass from bank.

Son Don and I checked out Mason County's Deer Lake. Definitely a four-wheel drive into the lake. We launched a canoe and fished around the small 12 acre lake looking for bass. We caught about 10 to 12...
