Re: Batteries

Purchased from Drewcraft, they are running a special on the 12v 50ah batteries. Marked down from $499 to $349 each so had to jump on it. Thank you for the direction, now time to fish! Might check out Potholes this weekend if not too wet, but will still be running on the old batteries as the Ionics ...

Re: Sort order of reports

I *think* everything is as it has been for years, with the exception of the Clear lake report posted yesterday... The report date on his report is a month old, but that's because he created the report a month ago and never submitted it. The posted date is set when the report is created... not neces...

Re: Sort order of reports

Something changed. It's not quite in chronological order again and don't see an option.

I saw the signs for this recently. Was wondering what that was all about. Good to know. Thanks

Re: How are you beating the heat?

Staying indoors. Wish our forecast looked that good, triple digits here through Thursday, then 99/98/97 through Sunday. Already 90°here and not even 10am. [rolleyes] Welp, we got a glimpse of your weather for a bit here. Lol Wowza, Monday was quite the scorcher. We actually had to dogsit another do...

How are you beating the heat?

Or did the heat beat you?

We got 2 portable AC. They can not keep up. 11PM and still 87 inside. The bedroom is a little cooler at 84.

Maybe run both units in the same room? [woot]

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....

Hi...i have taken the step to test it. I had the voltmeter and amp meter hooked up for the run. Amps were right at 60 the whole time. Volts dropped to 12.78V initially when I first turned the motor on, but only fell to 12.77 by the end of the run. No noticeable loss in power at all, but relatively ...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....

Lol eh?

I've only had a short run on these batteries but they've perform very well.

There are more and more US based companies pumping out these lithium batteries, so it's nice to see prices falling.

Re: Banks Lake In early to mid September

You should have a better chance of good weather in September. Temps have typically dropped into the 70-80 range, so much more reasonable than the 90-100 in August and rain should be scarce. Probably wont be able to have campfires yet, but that also means no rain! I think you made a wise move, espec...

Banks Lake In early to mid September

How's the weather there around that time? Issues?

Typically go in early June but we've been unlucky weather wise the past few years.
