What is the proper way to use a Dick Nite?
I see the illustration on their website, but I don't quite get it. I have it with the sliding drop weight and about a 3' leader. Now do you cast it and just let it coast down the river or do you start to retrieve it after it sinks for a few seconds. I'm fishing from shore if that makes a difference.

You put both hooks through the sand shrimp obvi...

Fishing for pinks with gulp minnow grubs
I was at the store picking up some tackle to catch some pinks and I had been using a 1/4 oz. pink jig head with a bright pink squid on it but the store was out of both so I picked up some regular jig heads and some Gulp bright pink 2" minnow grub to put onto the jigs. Will this work or will I just b...

RE:What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for all the info guys. I just found out one of my coworkers has been fishing his whole life so he's going to give me some pointers next time I see him. I'll have to try the fishing at night, that sounds like good fun  I've been thinking about heading out to the river for the humpies, ...

RE:What am I doing wrong?
I've been fishing at lake tyee and martha lake. I caught all the little ones at lake tyee. I saw larger fish jumping a little further out but none following my lure back in. I can't cast out far enough to get to where they are jumping. I've actually been trying to catch trout which is why I was a li...

What am I doing wrong?
So I've been looking for a hobby and I decided to take fishing back up since I haven't done it since I was about 12. I haven't really had any luck the last few times I've been out, not even a bite. I've been floating rainbow powerbait off the bottom 'cause I've heard that works pretty well. occasion...
