Re: Ice cream maker - any recipe ideas?

I bought a Ice Cream machine years ago. There isn't a ice cream on the market that is as good as home made. I did a vanilla with fresh fruits in it. I had to pack the machine away. I was eating way too much.

Re: Crabbing 2020

The Puyallups have had their pots in Colvos Passage for over a week. They keep everything in their pots except for the dead ones I see washed up on the beach. Its sickening to watch. There are over 50 pots out that I can see.

I have a shoebox full of Lucky Louie plugs. What worked then still works today. I put some herring scent on them. Of course you need to change out the hooks.

I would think the water in the sky is too cold. It is mountain runoff. I'd look for a nice warm water area like the Sammamish slough

Re: Cedar plank cooking

I dont soak my Cedar planks when cooking fish on the BBQ. I don't mind the wood charring a lil adding some nice smokey flavor. I dont know how much I would trust creek or river water these days.

Re: What are you cooking in your air fryer?

I broke down and bought one also. I made buffalo wings with mine. They came out great but the cleanup of the machine inners was not worth making them again. There are too many parts to have to clean.

Are the salmon burgers fantastic? No. When I'm not in the mood to cook or prepare a full meal I use the salmon burgers. A lil tarter, some ketchup on a bun with lettuce tomatoe onion it passes as a good fast dinner.

I like your name Fishho. Hahaha. The other thing when I make patties I don't use Chum. I use Sockeye, Coho or King mixed with Pink salmon. I prefer good fish to cook with Our Chum around here is just crab bait for me. I only eat the eggs.

Re: Cleaning Fiberglass.

I used Scrubbing Bubbles and Tilex with no luck at all. I tried Clorox spray cleaner and Perfecto. It worked like a charm. The lil dingy looks good now. Is there a fiberglass boat sealer that I can apply to the boat? On the bottom of the double hull part there are scratches it looks like from someon...
