Greenwater and Echo Lakes
Hey guys. I'll be up near Mt. Rainier this weekend hiking alongside the greenwater river. Along the trail are the Greenwater and Echo lakes. Have any of you fished them before and if so with what success? I'm hoping to bring my fishing pole on the hike, but if there's no fish in the lake, I'd rather...

Penrose Point State Park Oysters
Been a while since I've been on the forums here! Looking forward to getting back into the fishing game this now that life isn't so hectic. I see that Oyster Harvesting Season opened up on March 1st at Penrose. Does that mean that there will be Oysters for taking (shucked on the beach of course)? Or ...

Re: harry todd park on american lake
I haven't fished from there in a couple of years, but I remember the middle of the dock broke off making it a safety issue. Also the kids at the "beach" kept jumping off of it which I'm guessing angered them. Sucks. I used to love fishing off that dock. I'm surprised it's still closed. I got a float...

RE:pinks are coming
So I heard that the salmon run this year is supposed to be huge and I want to get into the action. I've always caught salmon in the river just using corky and yarn. I'm thinking about fishing saltwater this year for the first time. I'm in that Area 11 area without a boat so would anyone happen to kn...

RE:more snoe for western washington AGAIN!!
I just want there to be some snow in the mountains. I went snowboarding once this year and it was all ice. So I'm hoping that I can get up there a few more times before the heat begins to come back although some nice warm weather sounds awesome. Fishing, Barbecuing, Basketball, Hammock, Warmth, Bein...

Page Resetting.
It's probably just my computer, but I have a new dell laptop and whenever I go into the forums I start to scroll down and then the page just resets and starts me back at the top again. I then try to hit the back button and it takes like 3 or 4 backs to actually go back. I don't know what's wrong but...

Indeed. I think they get UCLA, USC, Stanford, and Cal on the road this half. All very good teams and will most likely be close games. Hopefully we can get a split in the upcoming road trip (Stanford and Cal) although they are capable of getting the sweep and then coming hope to sweep the oregon scho...

RE:Successful Trout Trolling
I troll american and spanaway lake quite often in the summertime. I like to take the simple way and avoid all the dodgers and down riggers. Usually I go very slow and just troll a worm or a piece of powerbait with a bit of weight. Of course if they're biting like crazy I'll switch it up to a lure wi...

I'm trying to go to UW next year too. Though I'll be heading for the tacoma campus. More convenient lol. The husky bench support definently has potential. Justin Holiday is starting to get really productive. MBA is starting to get back down to reality, but we all know his potential. I can see good t...

Husky Basketball
I don't know how much you guys are into college hoops, but I'm a fan of husky basketball. I was'nt so into it last year, but this year they are a very exciting team to watch with Thomas and Dentmon opening things up for Brockman on the inside. It just seems really exciting especially since there are...
RE:xbox 360
I just got a 360 a couple weeks ago out of boredum lol. I play NCAA Basketball 09 and Call of Duty 5. I have live too, but I kind of get discouraged to do the online thing because I get owned every single time, but I keep coming back for some more lol

Yeah look at the freshwater reports and then just search for a particular lake that you were interested in, look at the reports from last year and the year before and study the what, where, when, and how of it. That's what I do.

I was hoping for the Cards, but knew it was a wish. I good game though!!!! The Steelers on the other hand, like harris's punch in the back and then pushing when someone is down already should have been ejected. :batman: That was a very stupid part on Harrison's part. Even though I hate the Steelers...

economy and trout
So today I was wishing for spring time to arrive so that I could hit the lakes without having to deal with the nasty weather and I got to thinking. With the economy in the worst it has ever been since I've been alive (only 18 years) will that affect how many trout are to be stocked in the lakes? I'm...

If anyone gets bored.
Maybe try hitting up Spanaway lake sometime soon? I heard that they released a thousand pounds of fish from the sportsmans show recently and was just curious if the fish were going to be active at all. I would go check it out, but I've just been really busy with school and work. I'm anxious to get m...

Do you have a source for that?Sam Kafelafish wrote:And from their background (weird genes, growing up in cement ponds) many of these fish won't be able to survive after a few weeks because they just cannot adapt to live in a natural lake
