I have the cheapo 1040s,work fine for me. But I only use them in 10 to 40'. Had them out in Lk Chelan a few times and sufferd a bad bout of sorearm. I hate to say I'm not surprized.Having been a salmon troller back in the 70s and watching the tribes run every body out of some of the most gorgius places on the west coast. ie: La Push,beautiful if your standing right onthe beach looking out(if you know what I mean).
