RE:potholes reservoir
Haven't fished out there in years but jigging a green wedding ring deep with a worm always yielded walleye for me.

RE:whackin' a Muskie on Lake Tapps
To many people even knowing the rules prefer to still take illegal fish, until wardens crack down harder it's going to continue to happen. Of course you have the people who go out fishing believing anything goes when it comes to gear, or fish caught. The reg book should be mandatory with any purchas...

RE:Herring for shore?
From land its hit or miss depends if they are in your area. On a boat they are pretty easy to get as we just locate a bait ball and drop the line in. Takes no time to get enough live bait for the day.

Sea Bass in South Sound?
Wondering if people ever catch any sea bass down in areas 10-13? I only ever seem to get them up around the strait, but thats cause I have only ever targeted them up there. Wondering if I go out down in the south sound if it's worth going for them or not, or if they dont venture down that far in any...

RE:Buzz bombs
I only use the buzz bombs for the pinks. Otherwise like mentioned the point wilson darts are my prefered lure for casting/jigging. No need to mention no trebles since it's already been mentioned.

Should just go out with me lol it seems to be all I can catch. Anywhere i go on the sound I find them quickly it seems. Like stated though the herring is your best bet. If you are on a dock you can use a whole herring with a salmon double hook set up just hook the top one through the head and the ot...

RE:Newbie
Not really close to you but clear lake for bass or mineral for trout are both good lakes that produce good sized fish and would work well with your boating setup. They are also pretty close to each other giving you the chance to potentially fish both in a day, I have done it a few times. Good luck o...
