I've caught 6lb+ fish from Holms. Its a good lake , at least it used to be in the 90's lol .

I've found fish are bouncin back and forth. I've seen beds , but they are empty. Most of the fish moved back out deeper. Some stayed shallow but are negative. Try a slow presentation with lots of pausing/deadsticking. suspending jerkbaits and jig and 420 beavers are working for me still , but fishin...

Only prob I have with Tapps that time of year is, it WILL be very busy. No fun busy. Tapps is like a big bath tub. No beach fronts to take the brunt of a waves force. So they just bounce off all the breakwalls and rocks and create a windy Puget Sound scenerio. Added with a bunch of idiots out cruis...
